Cherished K-9’s mission is to rescue and re-home neglected, abused and abandoned dogs in Las Cruces and the surrounding communities. They are a small organization that rescues dogs off the streets and helps them find their way back home. Or, when that is not possible, they help them find new homes. Cherished K-9 also accepts owner relinquished dogs when they have the space for them. They are a foster-based program and rely on foster homes and donations in order to accept dogs.
