·Hummingbird nectar recipe: Mix four parts water to one part table sugar….no red dye and no sugar substitutes.

·Bullocks and Scott's Orioles begin to arrive. Place your orange-colored nectar feeder or half an orange, juicy side up, out in the open to entice flying orioles to your yard.

Oriole nectar recipe is the same as a hummingbird's (four parts water to one part table sugar). Orioles also like oranges and grape jelly.
- Both American and Lesser Goldfinches are molting into their bright yellow feathers.
